My client are a family-run Company that provide Site Engineering and Surveying services to the civil engineering and building sectors, operating on projects throughout the UK.
The ideal candidate would be based within a reasonable commuting distance of the Highlands, and will have experience in setting out for earthworks, drainage, RC structures and roads. Accuracy and eye for detail is paramount, as is the working knowledge of robotic total stations. Skills using AutoCAD would be beneficial.
As Site Engineer, you will be expected to:
- Conduct site-based setting out
- Produce as-built surveys
- Check drawings and quantities, ensuring the accuracy of calculations
- Use a robotic total station to provide levelling and surveying across the site
- Ensure all Quality Assurance documentation is carried out to highest standards
- Comply with the site-specific health and safety protocols
The package provided will be a £300 - £320 day rate OR a starting salary of £40-45k per annum, along with accommodation provision and mileage allowance if working away from home, or possible company vehicle.
