Our client is currently looking for a Setting out Engineer to work on a variety of projects in the Midlands, so come and join their dynamic and growing company and elevate your career.
 
As a Site Setting Out Engineer you will support our international projects in technical, operational, and surveying aspects. You will be an integral member of the site-based team and will be responsible for the site setting out/surveying on a large, and work to demanding HSE and programme targets. You will also be heavily involved in quality management and technical support.
 
Key Role Deliverables:

• Set out line and level of all works 
• Overseeing building work and undertaking site surveys
• Monitor Quality control alongside site QA team
• Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure they are followed correctly on site
• Monitor day to day construction for accuracy to project specification and drawings
• Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff
• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
• Ensure setting out information is conveyed to the workforce and correctly implemented
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork – as and when required
• Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to • Developing CAD/ design drawings for the clients and asset owners

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Engineering or Construction related degree/certificate or higher education 
• CSCS Card 
• Demonstrated experience as a Setting Out Engineer
• AutoCAD and exposure to 3D modelling
