Role Responsibility:
  • Overseeing the measurement and preparation of valuations with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Skillfully preparing and agreeing on interim valuations and final accounts, ensuring optimal financial outcomes.
  • Recording, monitoring, and reviewing the financial performance of contracts, taking a proactive approach to cost control.
  • Managing financial accounts and presenting project performance to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Building strong client relationships by liaising and presenting project performance professionally and confidently.
  • Maximizing revenue by securing payments from customers within specified contract terms, showing your prowess in financial management.
  • Taking charge of subcontract procurement and efficiently managing subcontractor accounts, fostering strong working partnerships.
  • Leading the way in pre-contract pricing and agreement of project costs, showcasing your expertise in cost estimation.
  • Guiding and mentoring subordinate staff to help them grow and excel in their roles.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualifications, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
  • Membership in a relevant professional body such as CICES or RICS, showcasing your dedication to professional development.
  • A track record of working on general Civil Engineering or Utilities projects, indicating your industry expertise.
  • A passion for safety, underlining your commitment to a secure working environment.
  • Experience with the NEC forms of contract, highlighting your understanding of industry-standard practices.
  • A strong drive and ambition to succeed, propelling you forward in your career.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and build relationships.
