HSQ Recruitment are currently working alongside an industry leading construction site and are looking for a Logistics Manager to work closely with the companies project manager to ensure the deliveries of materials / goods are efficiently managed
- Communicating and liaising with waste contractors to schedule and book in waste collections
- Ensuring all date is recorded and collected / delivered paperwork is retained and filed correctly
- Planning / overseeing all delivery aspects by updating and maintaining the online booking system and trackers
- Speaking with external supply chain partners to ensure a smooth and easy delivery process
- Managing and guiding members of the transport team and logistics team (anything from a traffic clerk to the warehouse staff loading and unloading
- Managing all delivery areas in line with CPP, EMP, TMP
- Making sure all vehicle checks are completed in full and successfully
- Weekly meetings with the logistics team
- 5 years + construction experience, ideally have some experience within the supervision / management of a site's logistic operation
- CPCS Card is desirable
- SMSTS or equivalent training
- A full clean UK Licence and flexibility to travel around the UK and Ireland sites
- A strong understanding of online booking systems
- Strong management and time effective skills being able to prioritise work loads
- Up date to right to work in the UK / Work permits
