Position:              Land Surveyor
Location:             Birmingham (West Midlands)
Package:              Negotiable
 
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately measure and map land and structures for construction and highways projects
  • Provide valuable input on site layout, elevations, and construction placements
  • Conduct boundary surveys to establish property lines and legal boundaries
  • Utilize cutting-edge technology, including Total Stations, GPS receivers, and laser scanners, to gather data
  • Provide topographical information to assist with project planning and design
  • Contribute to the successful completion of projects by ensuring accuracy and precision in all measurements
Requirements:
  • Proficiency with surveying technology and equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working on construction and highways projects preferred
  • Full UK Drivers licence is essential
Equipment Used:
  • Total Stations – Leica TS16
  • GPS Receivers – GS18
  • Laser Scanners – Experience preferred but not essential
  • Software for data processing and mapping – M4CE
