With that in mind, we are currently seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our esteemed Construction Team.
Location: London / Reading
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Responsibilities:
Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within the UK
Proficiently carry out on-site and office works as assigned by senior staff members
Adhere to company standards and procedures for surveying, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Environmental policies
Exhibit competence in Construction Engineering surveys, including general setting out, as-built surveys, establishing grid lines and level datums, and more
Display understanding and proficiency in the installation of primary, secondary, and tertiary control, knowing when to employ each
Showcase expertise in operating the 3D Laser Scanner on site
Potentially assist in processing and drafting as required
Demonstrate aptitude for conducting basic land and measured building surveys, right to light surveys, net lettable area surveys, volume surveys, and more
Skills Required:
Must possess UK experience in a similar role
Hold a valid CSCS Card
Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills
Competent in both land and engineering surveying
Experience with surveying software, preferably N4ce and Star*Net
Understanding of GPS techniques
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Proficient user of BricsCAD / AutoCAD
Competent user of all Leica survey equipment and Captivate operating system / applications
Willingness to travel and stay on short notice for projects within the UK
Possess a full UK Driving License
Sentinel registration required if assigned to rail-related projects
