With that in mind, we are currently seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our esteemed Construction Team.
 
Location: London / Reading
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
 
Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within the UK

  • Proficiently carry out on-site and office works as assigned by senior staff members

  • Adhere to company standards and procedures for surveying, Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Environmental policies

  • Exhibit competence in Construction Engineering surveys, including general setting out, as-built surveys, establishing grid lines and level datums, and more

  • Display understanding and proficiency in the installation of primary, secondary, and tertiary control, knowing when to employ each

  • Showcase expertise in operating the 3D Laser Scanner on site

  • Potentially assist in processing and drafting as required

  • Demonstrate aptitude for conducting basic land and measured building surveys, right to light surveys, net lettable area surveys, volume surveys, and more

Skills Required:

  • Must possess UK experience in a similar role

  • Hold a valid CSCS Card

  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills

  • Competent in both land and engineering surveying

  • Experience with surveying software, preferably N4ce and Star*Net

  • Understanding of GPS techniques

  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

  • Proficient user of BricsCAD / AutoCAD

  • Competent user of all Leica survey equipment and Captivate operating system / applications

  • Willingness to travel and stay on short notice for projects within the UK

  • Possess a full UK Driving License

  • Sentinel registration required if assigned to rail-related projects
