Our client is an award-winning manufacturing and materials processing organisation listed on the UK stock market, with multiple sites across the UK. The Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor / HSE position will focus upon 5/6 of their manufacturing facilities in the South East of England, covering sites including Sittingbourne, Gatwick, Bexhill on Sea, Pulborough, South Holmwood and Chailey areas, for which you will be responsible for all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE / EHS ) requirements.
The position will allow for home and site working but will be predominantly working from our clients network of factories within your region, whilst also providing opportunities for training and personal development including NEBOSH diploma training, IEMA certification and ISO auditing training.

· Days based position Monday to Friday

· Key requirements of Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor:
· Experience in managing and advising on Health and Safety strategies
· The ability to switch between working strategically and tactically, providing hands-on support in the delivery of all H & S activities, down to supporting sites with RAMS and SOPs
· Strong H&S knowledge, supported with Nebosh certificate qualification, or above, or equivalent in H & S
· Experience in advising, and continuously improving management systems in line with ISO accreditation requirements - ISO14001
· Multi-site experience is desirable in delivering Health and Safety policy and culture, but is not essential
· Full UK driving license
