Position: Depot Plant Fitter
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Package: £24,000 - £36,000 (DOE), Healthcare, Pension, Excellent Overtime

Role and Responsibilities

• To complete maintenance and repairs as allocated, to the required standard, both within the depot and on customer sites.
• Reactive and emergency maintenance on a range of rail equipment; Chainsaws, Brush Cutters, Rail Drills and Saws.
• Minimise downtime of equipment whilst awaiting spares.
• Clean all serviced/repaired equipment
• Replace worn/damaged stickers
• Other duties connected with the day-to-day operation of the company organisation as necessary within competencies held.
• Traceability through systems of all fleet repair costs and customer repair details.
• Completion of QMS paperwork.

Criteria

• Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Qualification Essential (NVQ / C&G / HND)
• In-Depth knowledge fault-finding and diagnostics of 2 and/or 4 stroke engines.
• Previous experience in the range of equipment in a general tool/fleet hire fleet.
• Good Mechanical Aptitude.
• Railway Infrastructure Experience or equivalent
• UK Drivers License
