Position: Breathing Air Technician - Runcorn
 
As a Breathing Air Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our team by expertly conducting testing and checks on a wide range of Breathing Air equipment. This role does not require any service or repair work, instead focusing on ensuring equipment is functioning in optimal condition.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute thorough testing and running checks on Breathing Air equipment in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer's (OEM) standards.
  • Evaluate equipment to determine if it can be made available in a cost-effective manner.
  • Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections to guarantee compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Record servicing activity and spare part consumption utilizing internal software.
Qualifications:
 
We seek an ideal candidate who holds a qualification in a relevant technical area such as electronic, electrical, computer, or mechanical engineering.
Nevertheless, we welcome individuals with a keen willingness to learn and an authentic attitude, and we will provide full training to the selected candidate based on their experience.
 
Other Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
  • Proficient in communicating and interacting with colleagues and customers effectively.
  • Possess a collaborative mindset and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
