Stephanie Plazzi
Marketing Manager
I work in the Marketing department at HSQ as the Marketing Manager, leading our strategy across brand, events, digital, and campaign activity. My responsibilities include developing and managing our marketing plans, supporting our recruitment teams with tailored client and candidate campaigns, overseeing internal and external communications, creating collateral and content, and building brand awareness through partnerships, events, and social media. I also support business development and contribute to long-term growth through strategic initiatives.
I enjoy the variety, no two days are the same. Whether it’s shaping a campaign, refining our brand messaging, representing HSQ at events, speaking with clients or supporting consultants with pitch materials, there’s always a new challenge to tackle. I also love seeing the direct impact our work has on business growth and client engagement.
Because of the way we operate at HSQ, I’m always proud when I see consultants thriving in their roles, working with clients to build campaigns, and showing a real understanding of the way marketing works.
A recent standout moment was delivering a full end-to-end recruitment campaign for a key client that included salary benchmarking, branding, social and OOH advertising, and successfully filling every role, plus refilling a dropout within six days. It was a real testament to the strength of cross-functional collaboration and strategic marketing.
Collaboration, creativity, and accountability. I’m always open to new ideas, committed to high standards, and driven by results. You can expect clear communication, a solutions-focused mindset, and someone who genuinely wants to make your job easier and more effective through marketing.
The people. There’s a genuine sense of teamwork here, and a shared drive to go above and beyond for our clients and candidates. It’s also great to be in a business that gives marketing a seat at the table and sees it as a strategic part of growth.
Problem-Solver (I’m counting that as one word), strategic, and creative.
I’m really into hiking, camping, and all things outdoors. I also love reading, travelling, either camping or driving across Europe, and working on creative projects like writing or design.
“Remember what you’re capable of.” It’s a simple reminder that challenges are there to be solved, and that progress always comes from taking the next step.
That clarity is everything, whether it’s your goals, your messaging, or your communication with others. When you’re clear, you create momentum, and that’s when real progress happens.
