With Safety at the core of what they do have unique opportunity to join the business as a global safety manager. The primary focus of the role is to lead and develop their strategic direction for Safety Performance globally. A major part of the role is to influence and engage with key stakeholders including your team and the company wide operations. The role provides autonomy and allows you to shape and focus all aspects of safety in this global business.

Position: Global Safety manager
Location: Chester

Key Requirements:
· Experience of managing safety in a manufacturing / engineering and the construction environment.
· Ability to provide hands on support in the delivery of all HSEQ activities.
· Strong safety knowledge, supported with NEBOSH diploma qualification, or equivalent
· Lead in house training and develop company wide training development in safety
· Develop global EHS policies and programmes
· Experience of developing, implementing and continuously improving quality management systems in line with ISO accreditation requirements - ISO 14001, 18001, 9001.
· Detailed knowledge and experience of environmental compliance requirements for a manufacturing organisation
· Demonstrable experience of delivering world class safety performance and continuous improvement on behavioural safety.
· Experience of developing implementation and improvement plans for the whole suite of HSEQ activities
· OHSAS Audit qualification or equivalent desirable, although training can be provided
· Multi-site experience is desirable in delivering HSEQ, Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality policy and culture.
