This opportunity will allow your next step in your career to work on the existing HS2 project within the Midlands area but play a key part in the confirmed future pipeline of the client
What will you be doing:
- Taking a lead in managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of the project reporting to the Commercial Manager and Project Director
- Supporting the Commercial Manager / Project Team with the deliverables
- Producing impact assessments / risk expenditure and event submissions
- Accurately preparing sub contract tenders when required and carrying out in depth comparisons and placing relevant orders
- Being a point of contact for the Commercial Manager if there is any commercial issues
- Keeping up to date changes in the process and variations and successfully highlighting early warning notices
- Qualified at degree level in either Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
- Have a sound knowledge and background in major infrastructure projects
- A strong NEC background
- Must be flexible and have the ability to adapt to different situations
- Have experience in procurement and management packages
- Experience within Civils would be beneficial
- A full UK Driving Licence
