We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join our team on our Suffolk site in Stowmarket, Suffolk. Hours of work are 6:45am - 4pm.
The successful candidate will be a member of a multi-functional production team, aiming to achieve Safety, Quality, Efficiency and Delivery targets within the Production department, to ensure the optimum performance of the factory.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Adherence to company safety rules and procedures, including recording of machine safety checks before commencement of operation.
- Operation of Control panels.
- Measurement of bricks to meet quality standards.
- Feeding of bricks into the automated process.
- Cleaning of medium & high speed rolls to prevent blockage and maintain feed rates.
- Continuous housekeeping during working hours to ensure that work area is clean.
- Handling of bricks due to machinery failure or product issues.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility
- Self-motivated.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
- Ability to learn and operate key manufacturing and mobile plant.
- Willingness to undergo further training and development.
- A certified counterbalance FLT driver is advantageous but not necessary.
