Background
We are working with a well established M&E building services contractor based in North Yorkshire. They are looking to recruit an M&E Design Engineer to join their experienced design team. This opportunity has arisen due to a significant increase in workload across the UK.
In return they are offering a starting salary in the region of £45,000 - £55,000 DOE plus a company car allowance, pension, healthcare and 25 days + stats holiday entitlement.
Duties & responsibilities;
- Provide engineering designs, specifications and documentation to ISO 9001 standards.
- Assist in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals.
- Offsite engineering support for new products.
- Provide technical support to the production, logistics and integration departments.
- Work within the requirements of company procedures and national and international regulations.
- Operate within the timescales and budgets set by the company
- Completing and checking designs and documentation
Requirements to be successful;
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Design or Mechanical Engineering
- Previous experience working within a mechanical design position
- Proficient in using MEP Revit or Autodesk Revit
