About the role:
- Operate machinery as instructed/ trained to do so
- Keep PPE and all equipment clean and safe
- Ability to communicate and take instruction from Foreman and other Operatives
- Understand and follow daily briefings/ health & safety requirements
- Complying with all safe methods of working on site
- Carry out daily plant checks and report any defects
- Complete any other tasks from time to time reasonably requested by the company
Requirements:
- Experienced in all aspects of asphalt surfacing
- CSCS relevant qualification
- Ability and desire to learn
- Desire to maintain high quality workmanship
- Full UK driving licence (desirable)
- Willingness to work away/ weekends occasionally
